In the heart of Napa, nestled between the soft curves of rolling hills, lies Lunar Ridge—a vineyard born from serendipity and a dream. Our founder, Ray, originally brought to Napa Valley for a career in healthcare, life had different plans and the vineyards of Napa quietly captured his attention.
Ray's father stumbled upon what would become the cornerstone of Lunar Ridge, located in the sleepy region of Coombsville, Napa. An unfinished property surrounded by lush vines, it wasn't the practical choice. Ray’s wife, Theresa, was hesitant. Yet, something about the land whispered promises.
It whispered,

And that’s exactly what the Joskes did.
They sat on their deck in the world-famous Napa Valley, looked into the distance at a lush vineyard on a full-moon night, and decided to take a leap of faith. That’s when Lunar Ridge was born.

The first batch of wine made in the humble confines of their garage was less than perfect—a harsh reminder that passion alone isn't enough.
Driven by the desire to create a deep, bold red wine, they remained undeterred. They refined their methods, pouring love and relentless dedication into every barrel.

Determined to bring some of their French roots to Lunar Ridge, they even purchased French oak barrels to age the wine. Today, Lunar Ridge is not just a vineyard; it is a testament to the
